INDIAN OCEAN (Oct. 2, 2008) A CH-46E from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron (HMM) 264 conducts a vertical replenishment with the Military Sealift Command combat store ship USNS San Jose (T-AFS 7) and the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7). Iwo Jima is deployed as part of the Iwo Jima Expeditionary Strike Group supporting maritime security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
